The Strength to Reach Out
Isolation often feels easier. You do not have to explain yourself, admit weakness, or risk being misunderstood. But what feels easier today can become heavier tomorrow.
God did not design men to carry every burden alone. Strong leadership is not pretending you have no struggles. It is having the humility to let trusted men speak truth into your life and the courage to do the same for them.
Someone in your life may need encouragement today. You may also be the one who needs to reach out. Either way, brotherhood begins when one man is willing to stop hiding behind “I’m fine.”
Who is one man I trust enough to be honest with today?
God, give me the humility to ask for help and the courage to offer it. Place strong, faithful men around me, and help me become that kind of brother to someone else. Amen.
Call or text one man today. Do not send a generic greeting. Ask him honestly how he is doing, and be willing to answer the same question truthfully.
Keep walking through the fire
Forged by Fire is a book about the cost of isolation and the power of brotherhood. If this hit something, the book goes further.
